Our new conference facility opens out onto the tennis court area and pool area, which is exclusively booked for the full day’s training session.  The indoor gym and indoor pool is also available if you fancy a work out after the course.

This session takes you step by step from the beginning and covers the operation of the IWB and basic use of Activstudio software. We will look at:

·       Using your existing resources

·       Integrating your IWB into the Daily Teaching Program

Build upon your knowledge of the basics to develop an extended use of the software. Learn how to create a magic mirror to see through page layers, use magic writing to enhance student learning and add sound, video and custom grids to your flipcharts. Explore the properties with Actions, Containers and Restrictors, video placeholders and downloading and creating resource packs.

 I will shortly post information about how you, and your education setting, can access the latest in IWB training in South Australia.

Having taught in the UK, and here in SA schools on IWBs, and conducted numerous PD sessions on the Promethean ACTIVBoard, I realise that IWB training is essential for the professional development of teaching staff.

Inspired by 15 years of teaching experience, motivated by technological change, I promise to deliver IWB training courses that are designed to enthuse and educate the educators, in addition to bringing teaching and learning well  and truely into South Australia and the 21st Century.
